Traveling Photographer
Rick Rusch started as a photographer to explore and capture the many beautiful moments life had to offer. During his earlier years, his pictures would show the diversity of life by capturing the simple beauty of life that most people pass by without noticing.
Photography has always been his love. With his first publication in 2016 in the European magazine Cool Nederlands, photography truly became his passion and a way of life.
He quit working for corporate America and devoted his full attention to photography. As his skill level grew, he realized that he is more of an artist than a photographer using photography as a medium to express himself in various types of photography by telling stories of people through his lens. His photography style now is more editorial and lifestyle in nature
In recent years, he began broadening his direction on photography and has journeyed into humanitarian photography starting with his volunteering in South Africa as a photographer, where he worked with community leaders to support the economic and humanitarian needs of their communities.
His life-changing experiences in South Africa proved to be a shift in his professional perspective.
